Our Story
A boy was abandoned by his family because he was unusual, he didn't look "normal", and he even had "weird" mannerisms. He was considered a curse and his parents were blamed. He was left in front of an orphanage where he was neglected. Luckily, a social worker adopted him and told us his story.
There are many kids who are abandoned by their families or don't receive the necessary care because of the unknown. Often, caretakers lack the information and are afraid of the future. We want this to end. Since that day, we pledged never to let down individuals suffering from rare disorders. GCIL works for patients and families to bring comfort and shed some light on the path less illuminated.
